Fenton Art Glass Company UpdateIn August 2007, as we were marking the anniversary of our 26th year in business, the Fenton Art Glass Company announced they would be closing. However, in early December, they announced that they will continue to produce glass. Ninety new pieces will be made for Spring 2008. It has been our privilege to represent Fenton for more than a quarter of a century. The Fenton family, glass artisans, decorators, and office staff have demonstrated a commitment to the highest level of quality. It is a commitment to product and customer service that is without equal in American business. We have placed our order and should start to receive it in February. We hope to see you when we re-open on February 14th. For more detailed information (and to see the new glassware) go to www.fentonartglass.com/spring2008 Hedge House will continue to offer the finest and largest selection of new and old Fenton Art Glass in the Northeast. With our vast inventory we expect to serve you for years to come. Please visit the shop, or send us your wish list via mail, phone (603-563-8833) or email info@hedgehouse.com. |

Visit the Shop
The focus at Hedge House is on handcrafted American glass, particularly Fenton Art Glass. Our shop has met the standards to be designated a Fenton Gold Showcase Dealer and was consistently ranked among the top 15 dealers in the country. Because of our large inventory of new glassware and because of the Collectors' Cornucopia area of the shop devoted to older pieces, we believe we offer New England's finest selection of Fenton Art Glass. In addition to the general line, we carry all limited editions: Early Spring (Valentine & Easter), Historical Collection, Family Signature Series, Designer Series, Connoisseur Collection, Platinum Collection, and Christmas groupings. There are usually dozens of lamps on display. We are enthusiastic glass collectors and so, at Hedge House, we cater to collectors. Ben is especially knowledgeable about older glass and is always willing to help people identify items acquired on the secondary market. Both of us like to share information about the production of American-made glass. We believe an informed gift customer is a future Fenton collector. Since Hedge House opened in August, 1981 two additions have been built, increasing the size of the barn behind our home to 1800 square feet of display space. (This renovated barn does not, however, have any plumbing. If coming a long distance, be sure to make a comfort stop before you arrive.) We look forward to meeting you in person or serving you through mail order sales. We invite you to send us your wish lists.
